🗣️ Human migration and mobility of professionals, students and skilled labour are age-old phenomena touching almost every society around the world. Immigration is a constantly changing world. A chapter of 2022 in immigration history will be remembered with so many changes.

🇮🇪 Ireland is one of the immigration hubs for many skilled professionals and international students in Europe. The year 2022 has seen many ups and downs in immigration history; from the delays in visa decisions to adjusting nearly 67000, facing a housing crisis to paying massive higher rent bills, from regularising long awaited undocumented migrants to offering the Afghan Admission Programme. We all have adjusted ourselves for the betterment of immigrant society as a family. The comment section is all yours to add what we missed and all your thoughts related to the concerned discussion here. 👇

This temporary permission has meant that those who held valid permission to be in the State in March 2020 have been legally permitted to remain in Ireland until 31 May 2022, even if their Irish Residence Permit (IRP) card has expired. This was a major relief for the Internation immigrants in Ireland

This decision has enabled people who visit Ireland regularly, for business or family reasons in particular they can make one application and if it is granted then the person can travel over five years for a specific number of days in a year. This decision made travelling to Ireland a more convenient and attractive option at a time when travel worldwide is resuming and our tourism industry, in particular, has reopened following the impact of the COVID 19 pandemic.’

🤞 Certainly, there were more and a lot of major changes to be seen yet. Overall the year 2022 was another challenging year for the migrant community & family but we all overcome with it helping each other always. 🤲

🤝 We are looking forward to welcoming a single platform for an employment permit and entry visa to Ireland. This change will be the biggest revolution to streamline the immigration process. Together we all are stronger than ever. 🙌

🙏 At Immigration Ireland (Updates) and SKT CONSULTANTS we welcome all of the above changes which have directly or indirectly impacted immigrants lives. 🤟

☘️ 🙏 We would like to thank everyone who has participated in the world of immigration and helped each other to make our lives more comfortable as a migrant in a foreign land. Receiving an endless number of immigration problems and queries from all of you has sharpened our knowledge and allowed us to showcase the migrant community's voice at a bigger platform. 📢
